Creating Space to Recover
For Impacted Communities of the California Wildfires
LA CAN DO was born out of urgency and compassion. In the wake of the devastating LA fires that displaced countless families, a collective of design industry leaders—led by Adam Hunter—came together to take action. Our initial project provided survivors free furnishings and essential home goods, so that they could begin to recover with dignity, comfort and care.
But we know recovery is not a moment—it’s a movement. Rebuilding our communities will take years, and our commitment remains resolute. As we enter the next phase of renewal, we’re joining forces with organizations that can help us extend our reach and deepen our impact while partnering with brands and individuals to help support these efforts. Every contribution—no matter the size—brings us closer to transforming empty houses into true homes. Together, we can restore not only what was lost, but the hope for a better tomorrow.
GET INVOLVED
Help families displaced by the fires rebuild a sense of home. We are seeking partners who can directly donate home goods and building materials for free or at a discounted price, in addition to fiscal sponsors who can support our on-going projects.
